主要从事质子交换膜燃料电池的研究开发工作。
研究领域:
1、提高质子交换膜燃料电池使用寿命、降低成本方面的应用基础研究
以氢气为燃料的质子交换膜燃料电池,由于启动速度快、功率密度高、无污染等特点被认为是未来清洁汽车的最佳候选电源之一。但要使其商业化,必须首先解决燃料电池在车用工况下的低使用寿命和高电池成本问题。
主要内容包括:高稳定性抗中毒电催化剂研究;燃料电池寿命快速评价;动态工况下燃料电池的衰减机理;燃料电池环境适应性研究;电池组内各节单电池的分布均匀性研究;单池内分布均匀性研究;廉价的双极板材料;流场结构设计;电池系统模型模拟与优化等。
2、再生氢氧燃料电池系统技术研发
可再生氢氧燃料电池系统(RFC)将水电解技术与氢氧燃料电池技术相结合,氢氧燃料电池的燃料 H2、氧化剂O2可通过水电解过程得以“再生”, 从而起到蓄能供电双重作用。而与太阳能发电相结合的可再生氢氧燃料电池是当前最具优势的空间可再生能源技术。
主要内容包括:质子交换膜水电解池关键材料、部件开发与优化;特殊环境下应用的燃料电池系统技术;RFC系统集成与优化。

在各类新能源汽车中,燃料电池汽车因具有零排放、效率高、能源可再生等优势,被认为是未来汽车工业的发展方向。其关键部件燃料电池,是当今世界科技创新的前沿。中科院大连化物所研究员邵志刚凭借在燃料电池研发领域的卓越成果,日前入选第二批国家“**计划”科技创新领军人才。
作为大连化物所洁净能源国家实验室燃料电池研究部部长,邵志刚研发燃料电池已整整20年,他和团队在燃料电池关键材料、部件及系统方面,都形成了自主知识产权体系。
20年间,邵志刚的团队不断取得新突破,燃料电池发动机从最初的大体积、小功率,不断向小体积、大功率换代发展。
邵志刚所带领的团队有50多人,他不仅要在科研上做好带头人,还要统筹安排团队分工,让科研效率最大化。
经过一路攻关,2014年,邵志刚带领团队研发的新燃料电池完成测试,使用寿命达到3000小时,为下一步的示范运行和商品化奠定了技术基础。

知难不畏 拼搏创新-访大连化物所燃料电池研究室邵志刚
邵志刚,1991年毕业于大连理工大学化学工程系环境工程专业,获学士学位;1993年来到所里读硕士,随后留所工作,于2000年获工学博士学位;2001至2002年,在香港科技大学化工系做博士后研究工作;2003至2005年3月,在英国纽卡斯尔大学化工系从事博士后研究工作;2005年4月至今在所燃料电池工程中心从事质子交换膜燃料电池膜电极材料的研究与开发;2006年,入选中国科学院“**计划”。
料电池的研究进行了大的调整,邵志刚老师应聘了新组建的燃料电池系统科学与工程组(301组)组长,至今刚好满一年,谈到这一年301组从无到有的发展历程,邵老师感慨良多。
起步维艰 调整方向
应聘组长前,邵老师对今后面临的困难已经有所考虑,因为原来的301组所做的工作全部转入新源公司,新成立的301组不可能做同样的工作。当正式踏上组长岗位时,他意识到困难远比想象的要大。首要的困难是确定研究方向,没有方向根本无法开展工作。所里为组里的初步定位是主要为新源公司提供技术支撑,也就是侧重于车用燃料电池技术的基础性研究,这对于急需资源的新组建的研究组来说,困难可想而知,因为在现有的大环境下,最基本的经费保障都很困难。在所里现有的考核制度下,一个重新组建的课题组需要生存下去,必须要寻找新的生长点。在原有坚实的技术功底保证下,在领导、专家的有力指导下,邵老师毅然选择把研究方向侧重于再生氢氧燃料电池系统技术研发。
上下支持 勇担项目
有了研究方向,就应该选择项目来支撑。在项目争取的过程中,邵老师深深体会到艰辛,他说:“该领域国内已有研究机构在做,我们作为一个新成员要想参与进去非常困难,虽有基础,但上无‘人脉’”。但是邵老师没有退缩,他有信心,一方面是因为我们燃料电池的技术基础很好,另一方面是所里上下给予了大力的支持。原所长包信和研究员曾多次给予指导和建议;张涛所长一直关心项目申请与进展情况,并到室里进行指导;衣宝廉院士在项目论证会上据理力争,并带病参加项目答辩;孙公权主任也亲临答辩会,进行协调;科技处领导更是经常到组里调研,帮助解决相关问题。邵老师说:“这些都是我们最有力的支持。”项目最终拿下了,但是这仅仅是第一步,接下来要把项目做好。“我们能拿到项目很不容易,毕竟我们是新人,而且拿到的是别人不能做或者不愿意做、有风险的项目,我们压力很大。”邵老师说,“但是我们不怕,我们有技术,有所里各方面的支持,而且组内上下对此有清醒的认识,大家一年来每个周六都来加班工作。”半年多后,在全组的共同拼搏下,项目圆满完成,而且考虑到应用前景,在合同指标基础上自主放大了10倍,该工作得到验收专家们的认可,并获得新的更大力度的经费支持。
前瞻需求 攻坚创新
可再生氢氧燃料电池系统(RFC)将水电解技术与氢氧燃料电池技术相结合,氢氧燃料电池的燃料H2、氧化剂O2可通过水电解过程得以“再生”,从而起到蓄能供电双重作用。与太阳能发电相结合的可再生氢氧燃料电池是当前最具优势的空间可再生能源技术。该研究代表着未来燃料电池的发展方向,在国外尚属实验阶段,国内虽有科研机构涉足,但是也是探索阶段。邵老师说:“我们看到了未来的广阔前景,所以最终决定做这个方向。正是因为如此,该方向研究会有很大难度,所以没有人愿意做。但是我们有实力有信心,我们就要做别人做不出来的工作。”他形容现在是“战国时代”,我们一定要抓住机遇,在“群雄并起”中抢得先机,在国际上谋得一席之地,为国家做出贡献。
目前,组里已经初步度过了最艰难的时期,经费比较充裕,4名博士同时拿到了车用燃料电池863项目,两名职工升为教授级高工,邵老师本人也得到了中科院“**计划”的择优支持。邵老师说:“这都是大家共同努力取得的,比如申请车用燃料电池863项目时,大家互相帮助、支持,共同研究讨论,所以在全国十几个项目中我们一举得到4项。”
谈到未来,邵老师仍然不敢有一丝松懈,为了更好地开展工作,他准备补充工程设计和电子控制方面的人员。现在承担的项目依然时间紧、任务重,他说:“我们一定会坚持住,力争圆满完成,现在是打基础阶段,只要现在辛苦一些,将来就会有更大的收获。”相信在邵老师的带领下,301组将会迎来更加美好的明天。
