赵保路,男,中国科学院生物物理研究所研究员,博士生导师,中国科学院研究生院教授。1970年毕业于中国科学技术大学,1981年研究生毕业于中国科学院研究生院,获硕士学位。曾先后在中国科学院生物物理研究所,美国 Ohio State University(1985-1987,1990-1992)和 University of California at Berkeley(1998-1999),英国 Institute of Food Research和香港大学(1996-1997从事研究工作。曾任中国科学院生物物理研究所副所长,主管业务工作。目前担任亚洲自由基研究学会主席,中国生物物理学会自由基生物学和医学专业委员会主任,中国衰老和抗衰老生物学委员会副主任,中国物理学会波谱学专业委员会理事,世界中医药学会联合会亚健康专业委员会理事,北京烟草学会常务理事。现为 “Biofactor”,“Journal of Clinical Biochemistry and Nutrition” “生物物理学报”,“波谱学杂志”,“中国老年学杂志”, 和“中国烟草学报”编委。先后完成“细胞膜膜蛋白的生物物理特性研究”,“癌症中活性氧的分子机理研究”,”香烟中瞬时和稳定有害自由基性质的研究" “巨嗜细胞产生一氧化氮自由基机理和天然抗氧化剂对一氧化氮的调节作用“和“氧自由基诱导神经细胞凋亡和天然抗氧化剂调节作用的分子机理“ 国家自然基金课题及 "氧自由基的代谢失衡和天然抗氧化剂的清除机理"和"氧自由基对细胞膜的损伤效应和天然抗氧化剂的调节机理”“活性自由基生物功能及其机理的ESR成像研究”和“植物抗病感病中一氧化氮自由基的作用机理”、“抗氧化剂预防帕金森症(PD)的机理研究”、“天然抗氧化剂延缓衰老作用机理”、和“烟碱预防和治疗老年退行性疾病研究”两项科学院和国家自然国家自然科学基金 85重点课题及多项国家基金课题。“肿瘤细胞膜的生物物理特性” 获 1987年中国科学院科技进步三等奖;“人多形核白细胞呼吸爆发产生的氧自由基和天然抗氧化剂的清除机理” 获1993年中国科学院自然科学二等奖。1998年“低毒低自由基香烟配方和生产方法”获中国科学院发明三等奖。先后在国内外核心期刊上发表200多篇研究论文,两部专著和 五项发明专利。现为国家基金“抗氧化剂通过PPARS延缓衰老的机理研究”,“光动力作用诱导癌细胞凋亡信号转导调控网络”和十五重大子课题“用核技术研究汞和稀土的分子毒理机制”项目和开发等项目负责人。和英国帝国理工学院有合作项目,与美国FDA生物物理实验室,The Salk Institute for biological Studies 神经实验室有合作项目。与法国Universite Victor Segalen-Bordeaux 2,神经生理实验室合作研究PD的发病机理和预防措施。同时与北京玄武医院老年病研究所有合作关系。2005年被美国“The Oxygen Club of California”授予终身会员称号。
