潘海峰:战疫中的侦察兵

安青网讯“我报名!”当流行病与卫生统计学系主任在工作群里发出抗疫“召集令”后,潘海峰第一时间交出“请战书”,主动请赴六安市霍邱县抗疫一线提供流行病学技术支援。

潘海峰是安徽医科大学公共卫生学院流行病与卫生统计学系副主任、安医大学二附院、四附院特聘科研导师。自我省报告首例病例之后,潘海峰与公共卫生学院及流行病学其他专家一样,随时做好出征准备,等待组织召唤,所以当收到支援一线的命令后,他第一时间报名。 潘海峰家中有两个孩子,大宝七岁,二宝刚刚两岁半。岳父去世后,岳母独自生活,由于岳母身患残疾,但又不愿搬来和他们同住,潘海峰每隔几日都会去探望老人,为她送去生活必需品。潘海峰的家中有太多的牵挂,可疫情就是命令,防控就是责任,基层的需要就是行动的信号,他必须义无反顾。
“你放心去吧,保护好自己,家里的事交给我。”平时柔弱的妻子这次无比坚定,全力支持他的决定。
2月11日一早,潘海峰踏上了征程,成为了千万逆行者中的一份子。
到达六安市疾控中心后,专家组立即会同当地工作人员召开工作会议,分析疫情现状后,他们一致认为,目前疫情的重点应从“外防输入”转向“内防扩散”,应加强病例及密切接触者的流调工作。专家组决定兵分三路,潘海峰负责六安最北部的人口大县霍邱的流调工作。
顾不上休息,潘海峰立即带领两位老师奔赴霍邱。为了节约时间,去的车上他便开始与当地县疾控沟通,初步了解疫情。到达霍邱后,潘海峰一头扎进工作中,他会同当地疾控人员深入疫情一线,对新冠肺炎患者及其的密切接触者进行流行病学调查。

有的病例行迹复杂,传播途径不明确。为确保不遗漏任何环节,不错过任何可能的传播风险和人员,潘海峰不仅要通过实地走访、查阅记录、翻看监控录像的方式收集大量信息,还要化身“福尔摩斯”,抽丝剥茧,在海量信息中寻找病毒传播的蛛丝马迹,将关键线索串联成传染接触链条,为及时采取有效措施以控制疫情蔓延提供科学依据。

由于要直接接触大量的密切接触者,这些人中可能有潜在的感染者,流调工作就像是“在刀尖上舞蹈”,潘海峰是名副其实的“离病魔最近的人”。
2月15日一场突如其来的大雪,覆盖了六安全境。由于雪天路滑,流调工作结束后,专家组决定尽快返回六安。可就在此时,潘海峰接到紧急电话,得知霍邱县周集镇有一例刚确诊的新冠肺炎病例,他当即决定掉头返回!
到达周集镇初步了解情况后,凭借丰富的经验,潘海峰决定从患者家庭、去过的餐馆和村卫生室着手调查。雪越下越大,气温也越来越低,由于事发突然,他衣着单薄,连雨伞都未带,冷风阵阵往衣服里灌,但他顾不上这些,因为该病例传染源尚不明确,活动轨迹也存在诸多疑问,晚一秒都有可能造成新的感染,他们在与病魔赛跑。 经过几个小时的连续奋战,患者的活动轨迹信息被完全厘清,当地及时对相关人员采取了隔离措施。
返回时,地上已是厚厚的一层雪,车子时不时发生“漂移”,十分危险。潘海峰却无暇顾及这些,他借着手机微弱的灯光把密切接触者的调查记录重新仔细核查了一遍。车子停在宾馆楼下时,已经是晚上11点,潘海峰正好看完了调查记录,确定此次疫情处理的每一个环节都万无一失,他长长舒了口气。此时他才注意到自己的鞋袜已经完全被雪水浸透了,这一天他还没有正经吃一顿饭,但想到他们及时控制了疫情蔓延,他觉得一切付出都是值得的。
在六安期间,潘海峰每天早出晚归,晚上返回后还需整理调查资料,并和其他专家一起通过视频会议讨论疫情现状,常常要到凌晨才能休息。功夫不负有心人,潘海峰与团队共调查了62名新冠肺炎患者和502名密切接触者。通过对所有病例报告的进行细致分析后,形成疫情防控调研报告并提交六安市新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情防控应急指挥部,报告明确了关键的时间节点,实现了防控关口的前移,为疾病的全面防控提供了重要依据。

潘海峰及其团队的抗疫事迹经多家媒体平台报道。2月16日,国务院应对疫情联防联控机制第十二工作指导组对安医大流行病专家参加流调工作表示高度赞同和认可。3月2日,六安市新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情防控应急指挥部给安徽医科大学发来感谢信,信中称,目前六安疫情防控形式持续向好,这与安医大专家团的鼎力相助密不可分。 潘海峰之所以能在疫情控制中做出重要贡献,其实与他平时扎实的工作密不可分,无论在教学中还是科研上,他对自己的要求都极为严格。
教书育人是教师的天职,潘海峰在教师岗位上默默耕耘,坚持履行好“传道授业解惑”的职责。他担任《流行病学》、《医学科研方法》、《医学统计学》等课程的主讲教师,同时担任首批国家精品资源共享课程《流行病学》的课程管理员。曾获安徽省教学成果奖一等奖1项、安徽省教学成果奖三等奖1项和安徽医科大学“最受学生欢迎教师教学奖”,获评安徽医科大学“优秀研究生导师”和“教坛新秀”;参编《赢在论文术篇》、《流行病学》、《公共卫生与预防医学导论》等;依托于国家精品资源共享课程《流行病学》,开展线上线下互动教学,目前该课程学习人数累计达38410人。
在科研工作中,潘海峰深知在流行病学浩渺的烟波中,自己只是沧海一粟,唯有持之以恒的探索,才能解锁更多的未知。潘海峰以第一/通讯作者发表SCI论文70余篇;获中华医学科技奖一等奖1项、安徽省科技进步奖二等奖1项;主持国家基金3项、高校博士点基金1项、安徽省自然科学基金1项、安徽省高校优秀青年骨干人才国内外访学研修项目1项等多项科研基金;入选第十二批“安徽省学术与技术带头人后备人选”,获安徽医科大学首届“十佳科技新星”、安徽医科大学“优秀青年拔尖人才”、安徽医科大学“中青年学术与技术带头人”等称号;获第六届International Forum on Rheumatoid Arthritis十佳论文。

除了自己潜心科研外,潘海峰还积极寻找学科与专业相融合的契合点,推进本科生接触科研工作时间点前移,努力为本科生提供参与科研课题的机会和平台。目前,他已指导多名本科生在SCI期刊发表论文,其中两名本科生均在国际权威期刊《自身免疫评论》发表论文,多名本科生的毕业论文获评校优秀论文,多名本科生的大学生创新创业训练计划立项;指导多名本科生参加全国大学生市场调查与分析大赛,并获评“安徽赛区最佳辅导教师”。 青年兴则国家兴,这不仅是“长江后浪推前浪”的历史规律,更是“一代更比一代强”的青春责任。在抗击新冠肺炎这场特殊的战役中,年轻的潘海峰有担忧也有牵挂,但当战“疫”的冲锋号角已经吹响,当与病魔赛跑的接力棒交到他的手上,唯有奋力奔跑,方能不辱使命。

潘海峰:聚焦 不死的癌症 防治 躬耕公共卫生科技教育

潘海峰教授,博士生导师。安徽省领军人才特聘教授、安徽省学术与技术带头人后备人选、“安徽青年五四奖章”获得者、安徽省先进工作者、安徽省优青。曾挂任合肥市卫健委副主任,现任安徽医科大学公共卫生学院副院长、第二附属医院肾病与炎症免疫性疾病研究所副所长、炎症免疫性疾病安徽省实验室管理办公室副主任。Clinical and Molecular Epidemiology主编、International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases副主编。
风湿免疫病是以类风湿关节炎、系统性红斑狼疮等为代表的一类免疫性疾病,近年来其发病率呈上升趋势。我国类风湿关节炎患病率约为3.6/1000,系统性红斑狼疮患病率为1/1000左右。这类疾病确切的病因及发病机理至今未明,目前仍无法治愈,造成“因病致残、因病致贫”,已成为威胁人类健康的重要公共卫生问题。这些疾病的病死率尽管低于癌症,然而它们带给患者的痛苦大,病程长,无法治愈,因而被称为“不死的癌症”。如何确定关键致病环节,从而有效阻断致病途径?能否找到特异性较强的生物学标记,用于早期筛查和诊断?如何预防重要脏器系统并发症,从而降低致残率和病死率?这些都是风湿病防治的关键科学问题。然而目前公共卫生相关领域较多关注肿瘤、糖尿病、心脑血管系统疾病等,关于风湿病的研究非常有限。潘海峰教授自2007年起,在国内知名流行病学专家叶冬青教授的指导下,以两种典型风湿病——类风湿关节炎和系统性红斑狼疮为切入点,历时10余年,开展常见风湿免疫病的现场流行病学、临床流行病学和分子流行病学研究。逐步建立了风湿病监测队列,开展了环境危险因素、重要脏器并发症的危险因素、易感基因、生物学标记和免疫学机制研究。揭示了类风湿关节炎、系统性红斑狼疮、干燥综合征等风湿免疫病的环境危险因素及重要并发症的影响因素;解析了中国人群常见风湿病的遗传易感基础,新发现多个易感基因;提出新的类风湿关节炎和系统性红斑狼疮的潜在治疗靶点。
潘海峰及团队成员的不懈努力换来了丰硕成果。目前他以第一作者及通讯作者发表SCI论文100余篇,H指数43。获中华医学科技奖一等奖1项、安徽省科技进步奖二等奖1项;获“安徽青年五四奖章”“安徽省先进工作者”等荣誉称号;入选2021、2022年度全国公共卫生与预防医学专家学术影响力百强;2021年和2022年均入选全球顶尖前10万科学家;2023年度全国风湿免疫病专家国际论文学术影响力排名中位列第三;入选Expertscape全球系统性红斑狼疮专家排行榜,位列国内第二;入选Expertscape全球类风湿关节炎专家排行榜,位列国内第五。他的一系列开创性研究工作提高了公共卫生与预防医学领域对风湿免疫病的重视,为建立该类疾病的综合性预防措施提供了科学指导。

在科研之路上倾注心血:执着追求与卓越成就
潘海峰教授课题组是目前国内公共卫生领域仅有的几个专注于风湿病流行病学研究的团队,而在风湿病学领域他又是极少数的非临床专家之一。他的研究成果不仅在学术界产生了广泛影响,还为公共卫生和临床实践提供了重要指导。
2023年潘海峰教授团队利用全球疾病负担数据库揭示了育龄期女性风湿肌肉骨骼疾病在全球范围内流行趋势的异质性,突出了其预防和管理的巨大挑战,包括超过一半的国家或地区表现出的疾病增长趋势以及逐渐恶化的时期/出生队列效应;对所有国家或地区流行趋势的分解使我们能够确定推动各个国家或地区疾病趋势变化的主要因素,从而确定不同国家或地区在疾病控制方面的潜在差距,为各国政府个性化的医疗资源分配和公共卫生政策的制定提供了依据。相关成果发表于风湿病学国际顶级期刊《风湿病学年鉴》,得到国内外同行关注,并被The Haymarket Medical Network旗下的Rheumatology Advisor网站专题报道,新闻标题为“Musculoskeletal Disorders Have Increased Among Adult Women of Childbearing Age”。此外,他以四种广泛影响人类健康的自身免疫性疾病为研究对象,从全球、四大洲以及204个国家或地区三个层面,描述了自身免疫性疾病的全球患病率现状,并进一步分析了其从1990年至2019年的时间趋势。相关成果发表于自身免疫病研究领域的权威期刊《自身免疫评论》,入选该期刊亮点论文。
2022年疫情期间,他观察到风湿病患者可能面临更高的新冠病毒感染风险,且预后更差。因此,早期预防新冠病毒感染对这类患者的管理具有重要意义。当时全球已研发出多种疫苗用以预防和降低新冠肺炎相关的发病和死亡。但仍有较多风湿病患者因担心疫苗的有效性和可能存在的不良反应而未接种。潘海峰带领团队研究了风湿病患者抗SARS-CoV-2 IgG和IgM抗体血清阳性率以及疫苗相关不良反应事件的发生率,结果提示新冠疫苗接种对该类患者预防新冠病毒感染是安全有效的。他们系统分析了近期关于新冠病毒疫苗接种后新发自身免疫现象的有关证据,如类风湿关节炎和系统性红斑狼疮等。该文为指导新冠病毒疫苗接种后新发自身免疫表现的临床评估和治疗管理提供了重要依据。相关研究结果发表于国际知名期刊《免疫学》,发表后不到两年已被引228次,入选ESI高被引论文和热点论文,同时荣登2022年度中国风湿免疫领域高价值论文TOP100榜首。
疫情中的坚守:责任担当与无私奉献
突如其来的新冠肺炎疫情打破了平静祥和的生活,开展流行病学调查,控制传染源,切断传播途径,是疫情防控的重中之重。在基层公共卫生面临难题的时刻,潘海峰义无反顾地从“象牙塔”走向“战场”。
2020年2月10日,省内多个地市疫情防控工作告急,亟需流调专家支援,安医大(安徽医科大学的简称)接到省委负责同志的指示,在省医疗保障局的委派下,立即组建流调专家队。尽管家中有太多牵挂,可得到组建突击队的消息,潘海峰没有丝毫犹豫,主动请战。2月11日一早,他告别家人,踏上战疫征程。
在到达六安市疾控中心后,专家组听取了当地负责人关于疫情现状和工作困难的介绍。潘海峰在会上积极发言,认为当前工作重心应当由“外防输入”转向“内防扩散”,而加强病例及密切接触者的流调是落实“内防扩散”的关键。会议决定,专家组兵分三路,潘海峰负责六安最北部的人口大县——霍邱的流调工作。
2月15日一场突如其来的大雪,覆盖了六安全境。前一阶段的流调工作结束后,潘海峰等人准备返回六安。可就在此时,他接到紧急电话,得知霍邱县周集镇有一例新确诊病例,他当即决定掉头返回,到达周集镇初步了解情况后,他迅速决定从患者家庭、餐馆和村卫生室着手调查。经过十小时的连续奋战,患者的活动轨迹信息被逐渐厘清,及时对相关人员采取了隔离措施。
潘海峰及其团队的战“疫”事迹先后被《中国青年报》、安青网等媒体报道。2月16日,国务院应对疫情联防联控机制第十二工作指导组对安医大流行病专家参加流调工作表示高度认可。3月2日,六安市疫情防控指挥部给安医大发来感谢信,信中称,目前六安疫情防控形势持续向好,这与安医大专家队的鼎力相助密不可分。4月28日,潘海峰获评“新冠肺炎疫情防控工作先进个人”。5月1日,他因在疫情防控工作中的突出贡献,被授予第23届“安徽青年五四奖章”。
2021年4月,潘海峰受组织委派挂任合肥市卫健委副主任,协助分管疫情防控、疫苗接种、卫生城市创建等工作,并担任疫情防控应急处置领导小组流调组、核酸检测组、院感督导组等5个专项工作组的副组长。
上任后潘海峰接手的第一项重大任务就是推进全市疫苗接种工作,工作之初,合肥3~11岁人群新冠疫苗第一剂次接种率连续几日处于全省倒数第一,这可急坏了潘海峰。作为一名“公卫人”,他深知构筑牢固的免疫防线,是战胜疫情的根本之策。“那段时间满脑子都是‘应接尽接,应早尽早’,虽然只有寥寥八字,可是要让老百姓打心底认可并且主动接种却着实不易。说实话,做人的工作比科研更复杂,更需要钻研的精神。”回想起那段时光,潘海峰感慨万分。
经过各级政府领导的有力调度、各区县卫健委和教育局的共同努力,合肥3~11岁人群新冠疫苗第一剂次接种率迅速从倒数第一升至正数第一位。合肥市在全省率先完成了第一剂次、第二剂次接种任务,并以超额50万剂次的成绩为全省疫苗接种工作作出了巨大贡献。
他还参与筹备和组织了多轮省、市、县聚集性疫情应急处置演练工作,并对演练工作进行现场指导和点评,督促相关部门对照各自预案,查漏补缺,总结经验,指导实践,完善应急预案体系。
在教学中播撒热情:专注投入与培育英才
作为一名高校教师,潘海峰始终把教书育人、立德树人作为人生最重要的追求。在教学领域,他展现出了卓越的才华和热情。他深知教学是培养未来公共卫生领域人才的重要途径,因此始终保持着对教学的专注和投入。潘海峰担任“流行病学”“医学科研方法”等课程的主讲教师,是首批国家精品资源共享课程“流行病学”教学团队成员,首批国家一流本科课程“流行病学”主讲教师。他注重培养学生的思维能力和创新精神,通过案例分析、实践操作等方式激发学生的学习兴趣和潜力。他还经常与学生进行互动交流,关注学生的个性化需求,根据不同学生的特点进行差异化教学,使每个学生都能得到充分的关注和指导。
“我非常同意一种说法,教师就是一个锁匠,教师的工作就是打开一扇门,学生会做出自己的选择。我要做的就是尽我最大的努力让门后的风景精彩,吸引孩子们多一些探索。”这是潘海峰教学的初衷。
为了提升课程的吸引力,潘海峰下了不少功夫。每次课前,他都要认真构思本门课程的教学思想、教学体系、教学内容、教学方法和课程的学时分配与总体安排;梳理整合每一讲或每一章课堂教学的知识点与技能点、重点与难点、疑点与兴趣点;撰写和完成课程教案、制作和完成课程幻灯片。他明白,要在课堂上牢牢抓住学生的兴趣点和注意力,只以专业知识“晓之以理”远远不够。为此,他把《安徽医科大学学科发展史》拿来细读,挖掘其中与课程相关的元素,揉进自己的教学内容中,那一段段学校、学院、学科发展的历史好像赋予了课程生命一般,让课堂都变得鲜活起来。这种“晓之以理”配合“动之以情”的教学方式,让专业课变得不仅是知识大餐,更是精神盛宴。“听潘老师的课绝对是一种享受,再晦涩的知识经过他的讲解,都会变得简单易懂。每次上课我们都要抢占‘有利位置’,一个字都不想错过。”一位潘老师的学生说道。
如果说给学生输送知识是一种“释放”,那么在专业领域刻苦钻研就是一种“吸收”。潘海峰深知在流行病学浩渺的烟波中,自己只是沧海一粟,唯有持之以恒地探索,才能解锁更多未知。在无数个漫漫长夜中,陪伴他的只有一盏孤灯,和心中不灭的信念。
在教学改革和课程建设方面,潘海峰也作出了积极贡献。他主导了多项教学改革项目,推动了教学内容和方法的创新。他鼓励学生参与科研项目和实践活动,培养他们的实践能力和创新精神。这些举措不仅提高了教学质量和效果,也为学生提供了更多的学习和实践机会。他曾获安徽省教学成果奖一等奖2项、安徽省教学成果奖三等奖2项和安徽医科大学“最受学生欢迎教师教学奖”,获评“优秀研究生导师”“最美研究生导师”和“教坛新秀”。指导多名本科生参加全国大学生市场调查与分析大赛,获评“安徽赛区最佳辅导教师”。
2022年4月2日,本已从合肥市卫健委挂职期满的他听说清明假期卫健委督查任务繁重,人手严重不足,毅然决定放弃休假,参加假期疫情防控工作。一年的卫健委挂职工作圆满结束,他婉拒了市里的留任,回到学校,因为他舍不得从事了十余年的教学工作,舍不得那些可爱的学生们。
不忘初心,牢记使命。潘海峰以其卓越的科研能力、深厚的教学经验以及无私的公共卫生奉献,在科研、教学和公共卫生领域深耕细作,凭借卓越的专业水平和不懈的努力,屡获殊荣。正如古人所言:“志士仁人,无求生以害仁,有杀身以成仁。”潘海峰正是这样的仁人志士,他的每一次努力与付出,都在为人类的健康事业添砖加瓦,为这崇高的事业谱写新的篇章。希望他的智慧与激情能够点燃更多年轻人的心灵之火,让他们受到启发,勇敢地投身于科研与教育的神圣殿堂。愿这些年轻的心灵,如同繁星点点,汇聚成璀璨的银河,为人类的健康福祉贡献自己的力量,共同谱写出公共卫生事业的辉煌史诗。
