刘玉孝,男,汉族,1977年9月出生,中共党员,研究生学历,理学博士学位,兰州大学物理学院教授、博士生导师。

学习及工作经历: 

1.1997年贵州省毕节二中考入兰州大学物理系;

2.2001年毕业于兰州大学物理学院,获学士学位;

3.2001年至2006年先后师从赵书城教授和段一士教授,2006年6月获理论物理专业博士学位;

研究成果:

1.在卷曲几何背景下(背景标量场的势函数为 V(f) = p(1+cos2f/q)),研究了自旋为1/2的费米子在膜世界上的局域化问题。对于通常的 Yukawa耦合 , 在q>0和h>0情况下只有左手征费米零模能局域化。然而,对于另一种耦合 , 在q>0和h>0情况下,只要q和h满足某些情况,则左右手征费米零模能分别局域化到膜上。相应论文发表在SCI-1区杂志Phys. Rev. D上。   

2.用广义协变Dirac方程和段一士f-映射拓扑场论来研究额外维流形上的自对偶涡旋,得到了新的自对偶涡旋方程。并利用此涡旋背景来研究了额外维上的费米零模,得到了拓扑的整体性质与费米零模之间的关系。相应论文发表在JHEP和Nucl. Phys. B等SCI-1区杂志上。   

3.考虑了几种类型的纯几何厚膜世界上各种物质场的局域化问题。这些厚膜能局域化引力。标量场和矢量场均具有m>0的连续质量谱,但只有零模才被束缚在膜上。对于无质量的左右手征费米子的局域化,必须考虑旋量与标量的某种耦合。对于一类特殊的耦合,存在m>0的分立质量谱。对于确定的耦合常数h,左右手征费米零模中只有一个能局域化在膜上。相应论文发表在SCI-1区杂志JHEP上。   

4.考虑了5维Weyl几何中一类膜世界上各种物质场的局域化和质量谱问题。对于其中一些膜世界,标量场、矢量场和旋量场均具有m>0 质量谱,各种场的零模均被束缚在膜上。而对另一类膜世界,各种物质场的质量谱均存在质量间隙(mass gap)。标量场有两个束缚的KK模式,矢量场有一个束缚的KK模式。对于旋量场,左右手征费米KK模式的数目决定于Yukawa耦合常数h的大小。对于正的耦合常数h,右手征费米KK模式的数目比左征少一个。相应论文发表在SCI-1区杂志JHEP上。   

5.根据额外维理论中ADD模型,在尺度很小的情况下,牛顿反平方律要修改。用变分法计算了ADD模型对类氦离子的光谱的修正。计算表明,若离子中的核质量比较大时,修正将比较大。额外维维数为2时,He的基态光谱频率修正为-10Hz,而Pb的频率修正则达到-3.1Hz。
